Shark Reef is off the south side of Grenada. The fast-moving Atlantic ocean current rips through here, but also provides the food for this amazing reef ecosystem. This is some of the best coral and reef life we have seen so far in the Caribbean! We dropped in with ScubaTech Grenada, starting off in Prickly Bay. They are fantastic local guides. The Sailing Sweet Ruca crew were joined by the crew from SV Dragonfly. We had great visibility on a bright sunny day. We saw lots of underwater life including reef fish, rays, sharks, spiny lobsters, and crabs. What a day. Join us for a little scuba diving fun as we drift away through the day in Grendada! #scuba #diving #driftdive #grenada #scubagirls #girlsthatdive #drift #underwater #travel #scubadive #padi #sharks #lobsters #rays #coral #reef #ocean #sail #dive

Just before the Covid-19 lockdown in BVI we had the unique chance to be the only people at the wreck of the RMS Rhone. Normally there are dozens of dive and charter boats here with hundreds of people in the water. We got to experience it like no other. Check it out as Kate and Curtis from team Sailing Sweet Ruca snorkel and free dive the area. The RMS (Royal Mail Ship) Rhone was sunk in October of 1867 during a Category 3 Hurricane after leaving Peter Island BVI. She was 310 feet in length and was 40 feet wide. She was a sail-steamer, rigged as a two-masted brig. The area was turned into a national park in 1980 in order to preserve the history of the site. Now, she is one of the most popular dive spots in the BVI and the home of some friendly sea turtles. #freedive #snorkeling #bvi #rmsrhone #underwater #sea #underwaterworld #blueplanet #ocean #wreckdive #girlsthatdive #sailing #sweetruca
