19 Sep Leg 3 – Part 3: Wilderness Exploring Down East – Sailing Sweet Ruca Vlog – Sailing Around the World

We cruise further “down east” of Maine. We see lobster boats, snag a few pots, sail down the only fjord on the east coast, and visit the mile-long sandy beach of Roque Island. Before we set off, our friends Nate and Diane, help us install our new Rocna anchor in Southwest Harbor of Mount Desert Island. We hike the Precipice Trail and then head to Bar Harbor for pizza and drinks with our friends Thomas and Kristin, who share fresh vegetables with us from their garden.
