Sailing Consulting Services – 1 Hour

Our consultations offer more in depth direct conversations that exceed the communications we have available through social media comments and Patreon crew member levels.

We are happy to share our sailing experience with others, we normally do so via our videos and Patreon, and social media comments as time allows. This doesn’t dive deep though, and sometimes our viewers and followers are looking for more in depth analysis of topics or reviews of their personal situations. We will consult with you on sailing and sailboat related topics. This is done with you remotely via Google Meetings or by other means available for telecommunications (phone, email, chat, etc.).

Once you purchase the hours and checkout, we will send you an email with a meeting request and link at our first availability.  If you can’t make it, you can reply via email and we can align schedules and time zones as best possible via email and reschedule.

The Fine Print:

Consulting is sold in 1 hour increments at the rate of 100 USD per Hour.

The consulting is solely remote via web meeting, phone calls, messaging, or emails, not in person. Consultations may be with one or both of us present depending on the topic. We do not offer any in person services.

Our consultations are advisory in nature, and any decisions made based on our recommendations are ultimately your responsibility. You and your heirs agree to indemnify us from any and all actions related to our services. You agree not to sue, on your behalf or on the behalf of any 3rd party or your heirs. If you do sue us, you are responsible for our legal fees and expenses, and the maximum liquidated damages would be 100 USD.

We can’t guarantee outcomes so we can’t be liable to you or any third party for damages, including lost profits, lost savings or other incidental, consequential or special damages arising out of the consultation, even if you have advised us of the possibility of such damages.

You give your consent for our communications to be recorded, which includes video, telephone, chat, etc. You give your consent for us to collect your personal information, including, but not limited to, location, address, web browser data, age, sex, etc. in order to perform our services.

You may purchase as many hours as you like, but keep in mind that we can only schedule these sessions as our time allows, which varies based on our navigation schedule and other factors. We will do our best to fulfill all hours in a timely manner, but reserve the right to limit our engagements and deliver the requested hours as our schedule allows. If our schedule does not allow us to deliver the services, we may cancel and provide a refund.

We will conduct ourselves professionally and consult on the topics listed above. We expect the same from our clients. Any behavior or requests during a consultation which we deem outside this scope or offensive will be cause for immediate cancellation without a refund.

We do not provide refunds for any consulting hours which are completed. Keep in mind, some sailing topics are very complex, and you may not learn everything you need in the time expected or allotted.
